A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained long enough to respond and manage the exchange. We keep it within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may automatically receive basic technical and usage details:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Glynn County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It identifies official request channels through the Glynn County Sheriff's Office, local courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal histories, and this resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there falls under the selected provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before running a query because we do not control them.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court portals, Georgia agencies, legal resources, and independent search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's own privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site

Applicable Georgia and other privacy or consumer-protection laws may provide additional rights. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-77, governs access to government records rather than data held by this private resource. Georgia criminal-history dissemination is separately governed by O.C.G.A. §§ 35-3-34 and 35-3-35. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
